MagicReporter was originally built for the healthcare industry. Each note or report body is individually encrypted and only decrypted when editing. Otherwise, the body of the note is encrypted with a key stored in Mac KeyChain.

Ever find yourself referencing the same three cells in a PDF table? Maybe you have to transcribe a paragraph or data points from a PDF? MagicReporter has a powerful PDF engine to scrape data from PDFs and place them in your document anywhere and everywhere you want. The PDF configuration can be set through a simple point and click menu, or you can use custom YAML files to describe variables to scrape.
--- NOVEL DOCUMENT WORKFLOWS ---
We found that many documents are built on a natural "if-then" workflow. "If a client wants the premier package, then add these clauses to the contract." MagicReporter helps you build these If-Then statements without breaking a mental sweat. All it takes is one click to add a tasteful Document Flag in a template. Then every time you invoke the template, a flag is ready to expand to the full verbiage if clicked .
--- SECURE TEXT EXPANSION ---
Many text expansion tools require invasive permissions to run effectively. We believe that instead of running a key logger on your Mac - we should only wait for a wake command within our own program. Thats why you will only see a "helper menu" after you type "s." (S dot) in our program, dismissible with a simple space.
